Young Leadership ConferenceJewish Federation Young Leadership is your connection to your community, your people and the world. It's your connection to the timeless values of Judaism and to a like-minded community. You are at the right place at the right time to make the connection. Join Young Leadership and change the world.
Join hundreds of socially concerned young adults in the fulfillment of tikkun olam repairing the world. Spend a day visiting the elderly, cleaning up a park or a synagogue, tutoring a child or collecting over-the-counter drugs for people in need around the world. Educate your congressional leaders about the critical issues facing the Jewish community.
You may be one of the thousands of young Jewish adults aspiring to leadership positions in the Jewish community. Participate in substantive leadership enhancement programs in your local community or speak to your federation about the National Jewish Leaders Institute. Learn ways to engage your peers in the critical work of our Jewish community.
National Jewish Leaders Institute Builds the Next Generation.
At each Institute, 100 men and women between the ages of 28 and 45, who have made or are willing to make a $1000 gift to the annual campaign at the Institute, and representing a cross-section of federation and non-federated communities, gather to develop the skills and build the confidence to make those goals a reality. Selected by their federations, these young Jewish leaders are given the opportunity to explore their personal leadership potential. During the Institute, each participant formulates an action plan to be implemented in their local community. They form strategies that will attract and involve their peers in the federation system.
In These Hands
United Jewish Communities represents and serves 189 Jewish federations and 400 independent Jewish communities across North America. It reflects the values of social justice and human rights that define the Jewish people. The values of caring that transform lives and perform miracles. UJC was realized to build the framework for new opportunities and new partnerships that challenge the Jewish people to continue the traditions of education, leadership, advocacy and personal responsibility that have inspired the world. Young Leadership Cabinet is part of that tradition. It represents the best and brightest within UJC. A dynamic network of men and women distinguished by their substantive civic and financial contributions to Jewish life, created to develop the strategies for young Jewish leaders throughout the federation system. Young Leadership Cabinet helps shape the future of Jewish philanthropy in North America and the future of Jewish community worldwide. For more information e-mail Andrea Bickoff.
